Photo of the day

What could be better than a photo gallery of capybaras?!  Of course, when this largest member of the rodent family comes to mind I always recall the booth at the NC State Fair that would charge $.50 to see “the world’s largest rat.”  I never did fall for it :-).  It’s like calling a tiger the world’s largest ocelot.

A family of capybaras sits on the shore of a river in the Amazon rainforest in Manu National Park in Peru.
