Where we are polarizing

Really liked this report from Gallup that looks at all the issues Americans have polarized on in the past 15 years.  Whiile some issues have both sets of partisans moving towards an extreme, I found it intriguing on how many issues the polarization is driven almost entirely by a single party.  Anyway, here’s the key chart:

And, as for the narrowing of the partisan gap, none of it is really political.  Though, hooray, we all hate public smoking now.
