    Interesting to see this. I just finished reading an Elly Griffiths mystery set in World War II England.
    The background is that a group of stage magicians was drafted to develop “smoke and mirrors” methods of distraction to fool the Nazis into thinking the Brits had a lot more military assets than they actually had. “The Zig Zag Girl” and “Smoke and Mirrors”
