I think the difference between high and low tide is one of the coolest things in nature.  It’s so wild to be out at the beach and have yard and yards of exposed sand and calm surf and just 6 hours later, it’s all covered up by crashing surf.  Anyway, how appropriate that I came across this awesome photo gallery this week that shows sites in England at high and low tide with some dramatic differences.  At the original site, you can simply click on the image to see high versus low– here I’ve got two images:
