Generation Gap

I’ve been a bad blogger because I’m desperately working away on my already late MPSA paper.  I feel guilty for not giving you anything interesting, so here’s a cool chart from the upcoming paper:

The voting behavior of the young actually began to diverge in 1992 or 1996, depending on how you look at it, but has really grown quite significant in the past two decades.  As mentioned earlier,  Obama may have enhanced this in 2008, but definitely not an Obama phenomenon.
