From The Big Picture, Russia and former Soviet Republics marked Victory Day for the WWII Victory over the Nazis. Two of these stand out for me, so I’m going with two today:

Apparently, Stalin still has his fans in Georgia

Cool post. I must recommend Montefiore’s YOUNG STALIN. It has some truly amazing photos of Stalin when he was young.
I notice the smile on Putin doesn’t come even close to his eyes.
