Who is responsible for the deficit?

Why, Bush, of course.  Okay, Obama, too, but a fair accounting makes it pretty clear what’s largely responsible (hint, three words: Bush tax cuts).  Anyway, Ezra gets together with the good folks at the CBPP to run the numbers in an even-handed manner to see how best to apportion blame for the deficit.  Of course, that seems like a pretty silly exercise, but if Republicans are going to keep insisting that it is all Obama’s fault, a necessary one.  Ezra’s column lays out all the details and the many ways they try and be fair.  Here’s the result in picture form:
